This is one of my favorite podcasts. Felipe's personality and character bring a lot of fun to an important learning topic for the construction industry.
Lmao!!! Yes the pain is real….get a great microphone. (And I love that Nathan focuses on the wildcard of ConTech: ‘people’)
Excellent podcast and a great resource. Felipe and the EBFC Show is nothing short of insightful on how to improve all coupled with a human touch.
The EBFC Show is exactly what modern day builders need in their lives. Felipe is friendly, realistic, and a great role model for anyone at any level in their organization. A testament is how he puts his guests at ease to talk about the realities faced on projects. Call me if you’re hiring direct reports Felipe. What you are doing is the future (Lean, Innovation, Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, TQM, or whatever else companies want to brand it) of construction and I want to be a part of it!
Felipe has created an awesome concept. Every episode brings you an opportunity to broaden your horizons in an extremely jovial and open manner. The EFBC Show is the best medicine for all Construction related pains...
We would love to hear the video of Darlene! We loved listening to this podcast, wonderfully informative!
I recommend the EBFC Show to everyone. I particularly liked the latest episode with Darlene and how she was real open about having to learn something new and how she changed and embraced it over the course of a project.
As a innovative technologist it’s great to see this conversation taking place in our industry.
The EBFC Show is where you can go to hear from people just like you. We may not always be like minded, but one thing is for sure — we will better understand what respect for people looks like.
A great podcast that will draw you in and encourage different thoughts on how best to implement continuous improvement each time you listen. Great Job!!
This podcast is a great way to hear about Lean in Design and Construction. I’m construction adjacent like one of your guests mentioned working at a small operation that happens to have its own podcast. While it’s strongly suggested we support that podcast as taking one for the team, I’m actually spending my free time listening to the EBFC Show. 😉
The Kate and Millicent episode has it all — drama, humor, reflection, philosophy, and examples of lean practice. Bravo everyone involved!
My gosh that episode was so much fun to listen to! It was equal parts refreshing and eye opening for those of us who are made to feel like we don’t “speak the language” of a stereotypical construction type. I’ve definitely found my tribe in the EBFC Show.
Congratulations on the mention in Construction Magazine Felipe and the EBFC Show! The recognition is well deserved. Anyone looking to be motivated to build better look no further than the EBFC Show.
I just had the pleasure of watching Felipe in person this past week. I’ve experienced nothing like it ever before and can say the Felipe experience is unmatched. The room literally broke out in applause twice with this guy’s leadership. His podcast is on my watchlist too. Cheers!
Any time spent watching Felipe and his interviews is time well spent. There’s so much to learn from him.
Felipe hosted a Construction Change Makers panel on YouTube. It was an uplifting way to begin my Saturday. Go check it out!
Excellent listen with exceptional guests presented by the one who can only be described as a living legend of Agile and Scrum in Construction.
What a great way to start the day! If you are in the construction industry, if you are lean inspired ... AND want a laugh/smile ... you MUST check this out!
I’m going to say it. It’s not up for debate. Felipe is an authentic change leader for construction. He actually understands that Lean is not about reducing core staff or general costs. It’s respect for the team and allowing them to work together and collaborate to build something to be proud of. As a result, projects come in more profitable and early. It’s such a simple concept that many in the continuous improvement space fail to see or even acknowledge.
This is a golden interview, two of the best minds in lean construction.
Construction, the official magazine of the Construction Industry Federation (CIF) June 2021 Issue CEO Martin Searson Interview Q) Who's your role model? A) ...the work that Felipe Engineer-Manriquez and Jason Schroeder are doing in terms of Lean Construction and driving operational excellence. Q) Book or podcast recommendations A) ...the work of Felipe Engineer-Manriquez, from his EBFC Show, about making building easier and better.
In one word - powerful. Thank you Felipe for having a real conversation about such a hot button topic. You and Henry handled it in both a respectful and truthful/vulnerable manner.
For those just dropping in to see what this podcast and Felipe are all about, let me tell you. Today, a lot of companies are all about the buzzword, innovation. Some hire people with sharp titles like Director of Innovation and task them with purchasing the latest software so the company can be featured in an article stating they are an industry leader. What they fail to understand is that innovation happens with the leadership of a seasoned Lean leader. For the skeptics out there, listen to the show. The evidence is in the collective experiences of Felipe and his guests.
I always learn something new from Felipe’s podcasts. The guests offer perspective and real life examples of how agile, scrum, and lean are being adopted and implemented. Exactly what I was seeking, especially since it’s a niche community in the Design world. Highly recommend the EBFC Show!
This show is legit and worth watching. A great mix of construction strategies intersecting with coworker relationships.
