Hoots

Adam Hoots started his career as a plumber's helper and red-line architect's assistant, and twenty-plus years later he's still getting his hands dirty — now as Owner's Representative on a multi-billion-dollar automotive megaproject in South Carolina. He has delivered over $5 billion in construction services for organizations like Stanford, NASA, BMW, and Amazon Kuiper, and brings that same field-earned intensity to Clemson University, where he's completing his PhD research on trust, emotional intelligence, and frontline leadership. Adam is the co-author of The Old Dawg Lean Thesaurus, host of The Lean Builder: Hoots on the Ground with No Bullshido, and a credentialed lean practitioner who has made it his mission to collect and preserve the wisdom of seasoned builders before the industry loses it — because with six experienced workers leaving for every one entering, we can't afford not to.
